These cellars are impressive and inside there are some 300 barrels, mostly new. While his wine style holds back on the use of new oak only using small proportions in the village and 1er Cru wines the result is a restrained wine with steely concentration and elegance. The Poruzots vineyard is a little lower than Genevrieres vineyard and closer to the village this wine is a typical Meursault great aromas and flavours of white fruit, spice and white flowers.
