Established by Polish immigrant Stanislaus Serafin in 1947, this domaine is considered one of the finest growers in the village of Gevrey. Second generation owner Christian Serafin has been making the wines for over 20 years by following a philosophy of old vines and low yields. This wine is from two lieux-dits in the village, one gravelly, the other on deep soil, it is fermented at fairly high temperatures ensuring good extraction of colour and fruit. The wines are bottled unfiltered with good levels of new oak. A wine rich, concentrated and structured, ageing gracefully for many years. (6 x 75 cl)
