This 90 hectare estate in the heart of Southern Rhone was founded by André Brusset in 1947. The domaine, based in the ancient village of Cairanne, is now run by his son Daniel, and grandson Laurent, who was a winemaker. Yields are well below that required by law, and the fruit is of the highest quality. Vinification is traditional, with a small proportion of the harvest undergoing whole bunch fermentation in order to retain the fruitiness of the grapes. The vines for this wine are over 30 years old and the harvest is all by hand. The vinification method is traditional with destalking and the separate vinification of each variety. Fermentation takes place over 12 days in vats, and then ageing takes place for about 10 months with 70% in vats and the remaining 30% in 2 (6 x 75 cl)

Domaine de Rimauresq Cotes de Provence Cru Classe ROSE
Description: A pretty, pale pink Rose with very delicate floral aromas and an elegant, refined palate showing gentle, candied red fruits. Fantastic as an aperitif or very nice with lobster and grilled fish. Domaine de Rimauresque Cru Classe is a highly-reputed estate, situated on the Cotes du Provence. The estate encompasses 46 hectares of prime vineyards with an average vine age of 40 years . Situated on the harsh mineral soils at the foothills of the Maures Massif, the vines are protected by the sheltering effects of the mountain from the harsh Mediterranean sun. This allows a longer ripening period and better fruit development, while replacement planting is now ensuring an increased vine density of up to 5,000 vines per hectare in an ongoing drive to improve quality. The estate owned by the Wemyss family produce whites full of character from Rollo , floral scented roses from a blend of Cinsault, Tribouren and Mourvedre. Additionally the red is both weighty, yet elegant with a tight, firm structure and real terroir character, produced from Cabernet Sauvignon with a slug of Carignan and Syrah for warmth and opulence and just a hint of Mourvedre for spice and perfume. Pierre Clement Domaine du Chatenoy Menetou-Salon
Description: As far back as 1560, Sébastian Clément was a wine grower with an excellent reputation in the Loire Valley. But it was in 1709 that the Clément family acquired the Domaine de Châtenoy. Today, Domaine de Châtenoy is one of the major producers of wine in the small appellation of Menetou-Salon, East of Sancerre. The estate includes over 40 hectares of vines, planted on the Kimmerigian clay hillsides of the area. The plantings are mainly Sauvignon Blanc , with 20% Pinot Noir. Pierre Clément, who has run the estate since taking over from his father Bernard in 1985, is a perfectionist and an innovator, always experimenting with new vinification techniques and striving to produce the purist possible expressions of the Sauvignon and Pinot Noir grapes. Menetou is the lesser known of the three towns in the world famous Sauvignon Blanc heartland of the Loire valley. Although Menetou is not as recognisable a name as Sancerre or Pouilly, you will certainly recognise the style of this mineraly, smokey Sauvignon Blanc. Traditionaly made with no oak contact and a temperature controlled, cold fermentation in stainless steel vats. This Sauvignon Blanc has lively citrus and grassy herb aromas, while the palate is medium to light in body, dry with good limey acidity that magnifies the citrus and mineral characters. Lengthy, clean and absolutely no oak on this 100% Sauvignon Blanc. (6 x 75 cl)

Domaine de la Janasse TERRE DE BUSSIERE Vin de Pays de la Pincipaute d'Orange
Description: A domaine is not the sum of their interests. It is the sum of their gifts. St. Exupery’s beautiful words could have been written for the Sabons, proprietors of Domaine de la Janasse. Aimé Sabon first established his cellar in 1973 and now owns a total of 50ha including 13ha in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The best sites are planted on a mix of galet stones, sands and clay and provide exceptional fruit. Since taking over the winemaking from his father in 1991, Christophe Sabon has set this 45 hectare property on the road to becoming the Beaucastel of the future. Tiny yields from the old vines give great intensity of fruit, while the flavours are preserved by temperature control, and expertly sculpted by judicious us of barrique. Christophe’s talent is to express the brightness and intensity of the grape, and capture all the nuances of terroir. Sourced from the single vineyard 'Bussiere' which is a mix of galet stones, sands and clay. The vines yield a respectably low 45hl/ha and are hand harvested. Ageing is in 30% new barriques for 12 months. A blend of 50% Merlot, 30% Syrah, 10% Grenache and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon this wine is a beautiful example of Southern French grape varieties; rich in colour with ripe, red fruit, well-married tannins and herbaceous, spicy flavours full of southern warmth. Domaine Henri Gouges LES PRULIERS 1er Cru Nuits-Saint-Georges
Description: The Henri Gouges domain was established in Nuits Saint Georges at the very beginning of this century. Founded by Henri Gouges, it was subsequently developed by his two sons, Michel and Marcel. In the last 15 years Pierre and Christian, the grandsons, have carried on the traditions of the estate by continuing the quest for excellence in everything they do both in the vineyards and in the cellars, they produce wines considered to be the benchmark for Nuits. The wines are produced on 14.5 hectares of vineyards and includes holdings in 6 Nuits St. Georges 1er Crus. Uncompromising about quality and respectful of the typicity of the different vintages, the harvest is entirely destemmed and vinification takes place in lined cement vats for approximately fifteen days, depending on the vintage. After cuvaison, the wine is transferred to small oak barrels and after 18 months ageing in oak barrels, using a maximum of 20 % new oak in the final blending, the wines are fined with egg whites and given a light filtration before bottling. The 1.8 hectares of this parcel have the benefit of an ideal location and exposure to the sun in the heart of the Nuiton vineyard. Both youthful , and mature , these vineyards give body to wines. A great reflection of the terrior this Pinot Noir has aromas of dark forrest fruits, supple tannins and an enjoyable long finish. Limited Availability. (12 x 75 cl)
