| Description: |

Henri Goyard established Domaine de Roally in the early 1970's and retired recently after the 2000 vintage. He sold his 8 acre vineyard in Macon-Vire and Macon-Montbellet to Florent Thevenet, the son of Jean Thevenet of Domaine de Bongran. Carrying on the tradition of making excellent wine this is as good a Macon Blanc as you are likely to find anywhere. The full-straw coloured wine has a well-extracted depth, while the nose is a classic Chardonnay showing honey and butter. There is also the added finesse as the flavours have developed a rich, sweet, ripe fruit character which dries out delicately on the palate. (12 x 75 cl)
