Description: Founded by Edouard Langlois and his wife Jeanne Chateau and run today by Michel Villedey, the Maison Langlois-Chateau has kept its family character. The Domaine Langlois-Chateau Saumur Rouge comes entirely from cabernet franc mainly harvested by hand and vinified in small vats at a controlled temperature. Description: The Domaine Langlois-Chateau Saumur Blanc comes from a blend of 80% chenin and 20% chardonnay. Grapes are picked by hand and fermented at low temperature to keep the flavours. Chateau Figeac 1er Grand Cru Classe St-Emilion
Description: Figeac was a vast feudal domain in the Middle Ages, originally built around a major Gallo-Roman villa called Figeacus. It has belonged to the Manoncourt family since 1892. Thierry and Marie-France Manoncourt are the current owners. Figeac is one of two Premiers Grands Cru Classes located in the Graves Saint-Emilion part of the appellation. The estate's soil is absolutely unique with unusual gravelly rises. Figeac is the right bank estate with the highest proportion of Cabernet grapes . The winemaking is done in a traditional vat room with ten large oak vats and a second room has ten stainless steel vats, all temperature controlled. 100% new oak is used for each vintage. Chateau Gres Saint Paul ANTONIN Coteaux du Languedoc AOC
Description: During the Middle Ages a small church was erected along the antique Domitian Way between Nimes and Montpellier in the heart of Languedoc Roussillon and named Saint-Paul de Cabrieres. Out of respect to this bygone monument the domain that was built on its ruins bears its name today: Chateau Gres-Saint Paul. Property of the Serviere family since 1830, the 26 ha of vineyards are situated in the commune of Lunel bordering the Mediterranean Sea and overlooking the Camargue and Etang de L'Or. The annual rainfall ranges betwween 600 and 700 mm with uneven distribution where there are 50 to 70 rainless days in summer. During the scorching summer heat the terroir benefits from the evening cool breezes off the nearby Mediterranean Sea, while this cool microclimate at an altitude of almost 50 meters allows the wine to obtain extremely fine aromas. This wine is a blend of 80% Syrah, 10% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre and is aged one third in new oak, one third in old oak and one third in tank. It is an enjoyable deep red coloured wine with blackberry aromas that complement this dense, medium-bodied wine. The fruit develops on the palate while the complex structure and tannins are evident before leading to a long finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Description: Chateau de Fieuzal today ranks happily in the top flight of the Graves alongside Haut Brion and Domaine de Chevalier for both red wine and white wine. The property comprises some 48 hectares on gravelly sand soils where the vinesÕ average age is 30 years. The red wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and the remainder Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Description: Château de Maligny is owned by the Durup family. There have been Durups living in the village of Maligny since the 15th century. Jean Durup's great grandfather tended the vines of the Château Maligny for 30 years at the end of the last century. Since Jean Durup took over the family Domaine all oak has been banished from the spotless tiled Durup cellars. Wine is kept in cement vats lined with fibreglass and also stainless steel storage tanks. Apart from refrigerating the wines to remove tartarate , the wine is given the minimum amount of treatment to retain maximum character of the soils in Chablis. The result is a very consistent, successful fruity, almost flowery Chablis. with a fresh and flinty taste, exactly the correct character of the terroir. (12 x 75 cl)

The 1997 Le Rêve is the sixth in a highly distinguished line of Blanc de Blancs. Its predecessors have repeatedly been rated The best Sparkling Wine in America . This current release is a great successor to these wines and exemplifies the best of our estate-grown chardonnay. This is a luscious wine, round and full-bodied with an exceedingly long finish. The 1997 has aromas of tropical fruit and floral notes of Freesia and honeysuckle. Components of toast, cream and citrus enhance these scents of fruits and flowers creating rich body and complex flavors. The tiny bubbles create a silky texture. The 1997 vintage was a great classic in Carneros. The nights were exceptionally cool followed by foggy mornings and sunny breezy days. A very long ripening period allowed time for fruit flavor development which coalesced in a final sparkling wine of power and elegance. The blend of the 1997 Le Rêve is 100% chardonnay selected from our six different estate-grown clones. It has been aged on the yeast for over five years. Chateau Lagrange 3eme Cru Classe St Julien OWC
Description: Located entirely in the Saint Julien appellation, the vineyard is blanted in a single block on two Gunzian gravel rises oriented north-south. At 24 meters above sea level, the center of the domaine is the highest point in Saint Julien. The red grape varieties, consistent with the Medoc terroir, planted are Cabernet Sauvignon contributing the structure and ageing potential, Merlot provides the fullness and flesh and Petit Verdot supplies the fruit anf typicity. Traditional manual harvesting allows the best grapes to be selected, vinified in stainless steel vats between 15 and 20 days and aged in Oak Bordeaux barrells 60% new each year and fining takes place using fresh egg whites with traditional racking by candle. The wine is very Medocain in style with a noble and refined nose. Very expressive in the mouth, the wine is longer than it is thick. It is lively and savory with firm tannin on the finnish and no roughness. Availabe in original wooden case. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau Rieussec 1er Cru Classe Sauternes
Description: The Chateau and its vineyard are located on the second highest hill in the Sauternes area. Due to the altitude the grapes ripen a little earlier than in the rest of the district, and are less often hit by night frosts. The estate flourished under Albert Vuillier, who acquired it in 1971. His management aimed at quality and this approach has been continued by Domaines Barons de Rothschild who have been the owners since 1985. Rieussec is a classic example of the best Sauternes can produce. The colour is golden and concentrated. While the palate shows a multi-dimensional wine, which is generous in fruit: dried apricot, succulent ripe pear, dates and currants. 18 to 30 months in new barriques. Gravel over limestone. Chateau La Cardonne Cru Bourgeois Medoc
Description: Les Domaines CGR is a venture between Chateau de la Cardonne, Chateau Griviere and Chateau Ramafort who provide the initials for this company. Purchased by Les Domaines CGR in 1990 the Chateau is built on the highest plateau in the Medoc region. The vineyards are on sandy gravely soil, planted with vines as early as the 17th century and slopes gently down to the River. The vineyard extends to the communes from Blaignan, Odonnac and Prignac and this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Great care is taken in the vineyard and this is continued in the winery where fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks before ageing 12 months in oak casks at the underground cellars. This wine has an engaging crimson colour with pretty reflections of ruby. The bouquet offers a ripe fruit pallet as well as a little spice and finely wooded characteristics. The attack in mouth is full, almost sweetened, with raspberry and blackberry flavours which mix with vanilla. Finally, the tanins with the silky grains support the elegant finish. (12 x 75 cl)
