The Wine DRY DON is a premium wine, with the elegance of an original dry amontillado it combines the best of the Sherry world: the aromatic fragrance of finos with the additional complexity of Amontillado ageing and just a touch of sweetness. its intense, yet mellow, flavours make slightly chilled DRY DON a great partner to pates, smoked meats, quiche Lorraine and creamy cheeses. Alternatively, simply serve it chilled, on ice or Spritzz! it with a splash of soda. Tasting Notes Light gold in colour with a very fragrant, pungent aroma reminiscent of fino, balanced by the complexity of nutty aromas from oak ageing. In the mouth it is full and persistent, with complex flavours, and a touch of richness which makes it smooth and easy to enjoy. It has the complexity of the classics with contemporary charm. Sandeman CHARACTER Medium Dry Amontillado Sherry
Description: The Wine Character Amontillado is a premium quality Amontillado Sherry, aged in small casks where the pale wines slowly evolve into medium gold amber colours and flavours of subtle complexity develop. Later a small amount of rich PX Sherry is blended in to make a dry and complex wine with a touch of sweetness. Tasting Notes Aromatic and complex on the nose, slightly pungent, with notes of PX. Medium golden in colour with hints of red amber. Very harmonious on the palate, with an agreeable touch of sweetness at the first moment, giving way to a nutty complexity and a long clean finish. Food Pairing A traditional match to soups, Character Amontillado is a good accompaniment to pâtés , smoked meats, rich seafood dishes and some cheeses. Description: The Wine Don Fino, a premium Fino Sherry, is a delicate and dry white wine. Produced from Palomino grape grown in Sandeman's own vineyards located in the best areas of the Jerez demarcated region, the wine matures in a Solera, under ''flor'' for a minimum of five years. Tasting Notes Pale straw yellow colour, with shades of green and gold. Bright and clear with an aromatic, very pungent aroma, the influence of maturing under Flor. Description: Puerto De Santa Maria have conditions that allow a thicker layer of flor to develop than for Sherries made further in land. In Jerez, sherries from El Puerto De Santa Maria therefore age without any great level of oxidation and have distinctive taste and colour wth a great deal of delivery in style. This is an old wine that has the particularity of having both ageing processes. It was Fino during three years and then started the oxidation process for at least five years. Delicate brown colour and an iodine nose with punch. Light and delicate to taste with an excellent flavour and a rich dry finish. (12 x 75 cl)
