Taylor's SPECIAL RUBY Port

Burmester Ruby Port
Description: W. Burmester was founded in 1750. Historically they bought their young wine from prime vineyards in the Upper Douro from contracted growers. The Amorim family who success in the Portuguese cork industry has now purchased Burmester. It has brought new investment coupled with allowing Burmester to remain 100% under Portuguese ownership. The high quality of their Ruby and Tawny belies the competitive price at which they are offered, and they have many followers who enjoy their rich berry fruit characters.
