Description: In the tradition of the Selaks Founders Reserve wines this Merlot has been crafted in an elegant, sophisticated style. Lush, ripe flavours of Cherry and plum are infused with barrel matured characters of vanilla and smoky, charred wood while the palate has excellent structure and balance with fine tannins lingering in a generous finish. The flagship range, Selaks Founders Reserve, regularly takes home Trophies. The best fruit each vintage is selected for this premium range. There are some vintages where no wine will have been produced because the quality of the fruit might not have been to the high standard required for this label that particular year.
