You only have to observe his soil-encrusted hands to realise that he spends his entire life in the vineyard and wine is definitely his passion. The bio-dynamic viticultural methods he set in place since 1996, has produced some of the Cote d'Or's lowest yields . Rigorous grape selection and a minimal intervention winemaking policy conspire to produce some of the purest, finest and most complex Burgundy wines available. This passion has produced a wine showing the hallmarks of the domaine with a dark purple almost black coulour and fragrance of earthy, forest berry and dark fruit.
