Description: The Particular wines are made from grapes selected from the best and oldest vineyards owned by Valentin Bianchi in San Rafael. This ‘Particular’ Cabernet Sauvignon has a good intensity, with deep colour and attractive perfumes of red fruits, particularly blackcurrant and plums. Full-bodied on the palate, with ripe tannins rounded out by the addition of the plummy Merlot and Syrah , this wine has nicely balanced oak and fruit, with a long finish. The Bianchi family winery was founded in 1928 by Italian immigrant Valentin Bianchi and now covers 350 hectares of vineyard. It is run by the third generation, headed by Enzo Bianchi. Description: The main variety used in this wine is Tinta Fina from the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, together with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot . Great care is taken from the vineyard to the winery as this wine spends 24 months in Oak ageing. This is a ruby red colour with glints of gold, brilliant and very opaque, typical of the good wines of the Ribera del Duero. A very complex bouquet, with a predominance of aromas of fruit and compote and once decanted, its complexity becomes more noticeable, with a mineral bouquet and a predominance of roast and smoked aromas. Bodegas Pinord CHATELDON Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Penedes
Description: The history of Bodegas Pinord can be traced back to the time when, over one hundred and fifty years ago, the Tetas family began making white and red wines on their estate in Sant Cugat Sesgarrigues from grapes they themselves had grown. Even at that time they produced and aged the wines using the most traditional methods employed in the region. In 1942, José María Tetas set up the current winery in Vilafranca del Penedès, just four kilometres from the original estate. Having inherited the family methods and traditions, it has gradually grown until it has now become one of the most highly reputed wineries in the region. This wine comes from the Montanyans estate belonging to Bodegas Pinord in the Alt Penedes. Made with the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety and a small proportion of Merlot. It follows a meticulous production process including a maceration time of three weeks. It is then put into casks where it is left to rest for 24 months. Dark reddish brown in colour this wine has an aroma of great intensity due to the oak ageing. If you allow some oxygen into the glass spicy aromas, vanilla and leather will appear which you later find in the mouth. The palate is perfectly balanced between the maturity of the wine and tannins that give it velvety sensations with a long and pleasant aftertaste. (6 x 75 cl)

Faustino FORTIUS ELITE Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Navarra
Description: Don Eleuterio Martinez Arzok was born in Barriobusto. In 1861 he bought a house and lands in Oyon and founded the Faustino Group. At the turn of the century the vineyards were totally destroyed by phylloxera. His son Don Faustino Martinez Perez de Albeniz was born in 1904 and, in 1920, he helped his father rebuild and restore the vineyards. Faustino began bottling their wines in 1930 and by 1957 Don Julio Faustino Martinez, the third generation, took over the family business and in 1960, the Faustino brand was created in honour of his father. Today, the Faustino group owns several Bodegas including the 55 hectare estate Bodegas Valcarlos. This wine is an even blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and is cask aged in Ohio oak to develop complexity and balance. This has produced a bright, intense, deep cherry red with tawny hues at the rim. Vinification Vinedo Sotes, named after the locality of the estate is a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Merlot, Cabernet, Graciano and Manzuelo. The wine reflects both the winemaking style of oenologist Jesus Lezaun and the terroir of Sarria's vineyards.Depending on the vintage the wine sees between 3 and 6 months in new allier casks following malolactic.The grapes were harvested by hand in September-October and gently pressed by pneumatic press . This Crianza is a blend of Tinta Fina 95%, Cabernet Sauvignon 3% and Merlot 2%. It is fermented in stainless steel vats at 26ºC and macerated for 15 days. It then remains in American oak casks for 12 months followed by a period of 6 months in French oak vats and 12 months in the bottle. Ruby red colour with intense iodised undertones, the wine has medium opaqueness, a good body and is perfectly clean. A tremendously complex and personal bouquet, at first, it offers aromas of fruit, forest and even flowers, which then grow into more powerful aromas with the oxygenation in the glass, which gives it a unique personality.
