Description: The cool growing conditions of Monterey are ideally suited to producing top-quality Pinot Noir, and some of Estancia's vineyards are up to 36 years old. Up to 5 different clones of Pinot Noir are used. Classic open-top fermenters, as used in Burgundy are utilised followed by 8 months ageing in French oak barrels. The result is a delicious, seductive style of Pinot Noir with excellent varietal character plus nice touch of vanilla.
