Vesevo Sannio Falanghina Campania
Description: Sannio Falanghina is scented and zingy, yet has the sort of depth of flavour seldom found in this grape. Cooler fermentation temperatures than are the norm in Italy result in a purity of fruit being captured in the wine. Unoaked, this wine is a definitive example of the native Falanghina variety. Despite being so far south, the Irpinian hills of Campania is one of the last regions in Italy to harvest. Vesevo's vineyards are situated at between 450 and 550 metres above sea level, and are always subject to a cool breeze that blows off the Bay of Naples. The flavours obtained in the vineyard are then preserved in the winery by Mario Ercolino (12 x 75 cl)
