Description:
Our Chardonnay is a fruity wine with a firm structure, crisp acidity and spicy notes. Enjoy this wine with creamy chicken, baked salmon or shrimp salad. The grapes for our Ernest & Julio Gallo Coastal Vineyards Chardonnay were harvested from the North Coast appellation. The North Coast includes four growing regions: Mendocino, Lake, Sonoma and Napa Counties. Beginning 100 km north of San Francisco, this region is characterized by the fog that drifts in from the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. This cool coastal fog tempers the warm daytime environment, therefore creating the perfect climate for growing well-balanced grapes. The areas contain benchland soils with well-drained thinner top soils, conducive to producing less quantity and higher quality fruit per vine. (6 x 75 cl)
