Seaview Australian Sparkling White Wine Brut
Description: Seaview Brut reigns as the largest-selling, bottle-fermented sparkling wine in Australia. It has earned an international reputation for outstanding quality, consistency and excellent value. Seaview's strength is initially founded in its ability to source premium quality fruit from diverse and extensive vineyards in some of the country's best wine regions, to achieve a consistency of style. Many of these vineyards specialise in the traditional grape varieties and are located in cool climate regions. Grape varieties: A blend of quality grapes, including Pinot Noir, Chenin Blanc and Semillon. Vineyard regions: Major premium vineyard regions of South Australia. Maturation: Malolactic fermentation of base wines. The wine underwent secondary fermentation in the bottle, matured on yeast lees for a minimum nine months, and then disgorged. Appearance: Pale, lemon-gold with a fine, persistent bead. Nose: Fresh and inviting, showing complex fruit characters enhanced by bread-like yeast aromas. Palate: A wine in the typical Seaview sparkling style. The palate is full and rich, featuring soft-fruit characters and crisp acidity, balanced by a refreshing, dry finish in the classic Brut style. Malolactic fermentation of some of the base wines and bottle maturation on yeast lees have contributed to the mouth-filling flavours and soft, creamy texture. Designed for immediate enjoyment, Seaview Brut is the ideal choice for any occasion. Serve chilled. (6 x 75 cl)

Angove's BEAR CROSSING Australian Cabernet Merlot
Description: The wine is a deep plum red with garnet hues. The nose has loads of plum, cherry and spice aromas with hints of chocolate and smoky cedar. On the palate plums, mulberries and spicy tobacco leaf flavours are interwoven with toasty, vanillan oak. The plush velvet tan- nins of the Merlot support the fruit and give persistence of fla- vour in the mouth. This is an easy to drink wine that will marry well with food.Warm, ripe luscious fruit is the driving force behind this wine. The excellent vintage conditions of 2001 allowed full develop- ment of flavour ripeness in Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. This has been preserved in the wine by careful control of harvest and ferment conditions. After maturation, individual parcels of wine were blended to produce a medium bodied style with layers of flavour and well integrated oak support. (12 x 75 cl)
