Domaine Des Gerbeaux Saint Veran AC
Description: Beatrice and Jean-Michel Drouin's started as a humble supplier of wines to negociants, but began estate bottling their own wines in 1994. They are still a tiny winery with a miniscule production but now the quality of their wines is attracting serious international attention. Based in Solutre next to the famous Rock, their 6 hectares of vineyards are scattered throughout the surrounding area. They are generous, fruit-laden wines characterised by grapefruit and mineral flavours that can hold their own against much of the Cote de Beaune. This St-Veran is a lovely yellow coloured wine with citrus fruit aromas that develop on the Palate to show ripe grapefruit and mineral character. (12 x 75 cl)
