Description:
The origins of Bodegas Tarsus date back to 1987, when Inigo Moreno de Arteaga managed to purchase 86 hectares of vineyard in La Ribera del Duero. Tarsus makes wines by seeking to extract the excellence and the best of the native varieties. The average age of the vines is 12 and a half years and they are grown on trellises without watering and pruned while still green. Harvested manually, there is exhaustive control of the grape carried out in order to harvest just at the exact time of ripening. Winemaker Diego Pinilla aims to create a wine with deep aromas of black fruits and coffee, robust and meaty, which when tasted reflects all the personality of the native soil and of the variety. Tarsus has great complexity and richness, and is an ageing wine which at each taste will provide us with new touches. Cherry red colours, rich full nose, intense fruit with spicy flavours and oak nuances. Great depth and character, superb to drink. (6 x 75 cl)
