The Nebbiolo vines aged between 35 to 45 years old from an 8 hectare vineyard have produced an intense vibrant ruby red coloured wine. The warm and rich bouquet is showing the elegance of Nebbiolo with scents of ripe red fruits and spices while the well balanced wood also has influence. Pin married Lidia, bought vineyards and began to make wine. In 1977 the family took up residence at LaSpinetta in Castagnole Lanze and still run the estate today. Named in honor of Lidia Rivetti, mother of the three Rivetti brothers this is 100% Chardonnay from a 2 hectare vineyard. After spending 12 months in new French oak this has produced a yellow straw coloured wine with slightly green reflections. Elegant, yet complex with scents reminding one of vegetables and vanilla; once on the palate there is a ripe entry, then distinctly firm edged, with a dry, nutty edge and sound acidity.
