Description:
The Poliziano estate was purchased by the Carletti family in 1961 and today it is run by Federico Carletti, assisted by oenologist Carlo Ferrini. This wine is a blend of Sangiovese, merlot, canaiolo nero and mammolo and is aged for two years in oak, 2/3 in large neutral barrels and 1/3 in small barriques. Concentrated flavors of dark fruits arel offset nicely by oak. With spicy flavors on the long finish, this is a rich, well balanced wine. (12 x 75 cl)

Dark violet ruby in color and on the nose it is showing supple new leather, dried berries, smoke and currants.
