Description: Ideal, slightly cooler summer growing conditions allowed the fruit for this wine to be held on the vine to achieve high sugar levels while still retaining strong varietal characters. Fruit aromas of gooseberry and tropical fruit are underpinned by a delicate herbaceousness. The palate has lovely fullness, due to the sweetness and moderate alcohol, and is balanced by a refreshing acidity. The intense varietal characters are lingering and give great length of flavour to this superb wine.
