Palliser Estate Pinot Gris Martinborough NZ
Description: In the renowned Martinborough Terrace region Palliser Estate has approximately 85 hectares under Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris grape varieties. Palliser Estate have found that even over the relatively small area they cultivate, there are great differences in soil types and climate which all help to add complexity to the wines it crafts. The Palliser Estate brand is the Flagship range from this company with a justified international reputation. This Pinot Gris comes from the original vineyard planted in 1984 and is made in the Alsace style with grapes that were picked late with a little botrytis influence. Fermented cool to retain varietal aromas and left sur lee for 5 month to gain extra palate texture this is a sophisticated Pinot Gris. It is typically quite rich with balanced acidity and a little residual sugar. The wine has inviting aromas of ripe stone fruits and a hint of floral characters. The palate is succulent and mouth watering with even more fruit characters (12 x 75 cl)

Isabel Estate Pinot Gris Marlborough NZ
Description: Isabel Estate Vineyard was established in 1982 to produce premium classical grape varieties in Marlborough. However, prior to the 1994 vintage, Proprietor Michael Tiller, then an airline pilot with Air New Zealand, together with his wife Robyn, operated Isabel Estate successfully as a contract grape growing vineyard supplying some of Marlborough's leading wine producers with much sought after premium fruit. The character and individuality of their fruit derived from a unique soil profile and vineyard location encouraged them to produce and market their own wine under the Isabel Estate label. This was regarded as the most natural of evolutionary steps. Isabel Estate aims to produce true 'estate' wines (12 x 75 cl)
