The Nederburg philosophy of excellence has resulted in more national and international wards going to Nederburg wines than to any other South African wine. Since 1937, Nederburg has been at the heart of the Stellenbosch Farmers' Winery and the Nederburg farmhouse is a classic example of Cape Dutch architecture. Located at the centre of their estate in Paarl, some 60 km northeast of Cape Town, while today the winemaking is taken to new heights under the direction of Razvan Macici, a Romanian from a wine growing family.
