A Late Bottled Vintage Port that sets a standard to which others could aspire. The quality of the fruit used in this Late Bottled Vintage is immediately apparent in its deep, intense, purple colour reminiscent of declared vintage port. The nose is tremendously fragrant and complex with cinnamon, nutmeg spice combining with dark, rich, chocolatey, red berry fruits. The palate is powerful and luxuriant with an almost velvet texture. Flavours of damson, plum and red berries combine with the delicate cinnamon spice, to leave a long, lingering finish. A stunning example of Late Bottled Vintage that is drinking well now, but will age for five years of more. (12 x 75 cl)
