Once harvested the grapes undergo three days cold maceration where the grapes were fermented with French yeast in stainless steel. After fermentation, half the juice underwent maloatic fermentation in small French barrels and the other half in tank. Following 11 months maturation, the two components were blended, fined and bottled without filtration. The OakLane wines have impressive consistency and a good concentration of fruit across the range and this lovely red coloured wine has deep, juicy red fruits and subtle oak spice on the nose. A full and ripe palate with firm but generous flavours of raspberries, plums and vanilla is well structured with supple tannins on the finish. (12 x 75 cl) Price: £103.13
