Smoky, round, full and buttery style the wine lover can tell from aromas alone that Gérard Chavy wines are classic white Burgundies. Without the overly forward candy/fruit character of New World wines, these Chardonnays are made to drink with dinner. The 2001 vintage is vibrant and alive for such a serious wine full of fruit character and a lovely finish.
