One of the world’s oldest German wine brands it was created in 1921 by H Sichel Sohne. From there it has grown to international proportion becoming loved worldwide and in 1995 Sichel merged with Langguth and Blue Nun was bornagain. With the famous Blue Nun on its beautiful blue bottle, and made from grapes grown in Rheinhessen on the banks of the River Rhine, this is a fine, medium-bodied white wine, now perhaps a little drier than you might expect, scented and delicious. Since its re-launch in September 1997 Blue Nun has re-established itself as one of the world's most renowned brands and is currently enjoying huge success in the UK. Bottled in a stylish blue flute this Rheinhessen wine is produced using modern winemaking techniques which appeals more to modern tastes. (12 x 75 cl)

Made in the Languedoc region of France after detailed consumer research into the Blue Nun brand. Consumers were keen to have a red wine made from the Merlot grape and they did not see Blue Nun as inherently German but more as a global brand. As a result of this research F.W.Langguth, the producer of Blue Nun, have developed a meduim bodied, softer, rounded Merlot which is in a very easy drinking style. (12 x 75 cl)

Bodegas Benito Urbina BLUE LABEL Reserva Especial Rioja Spain
Description: Made from 95% Tempranillo as well as a little Graciano and Mazuelo from 20+ year old vines once in the winery this wine is aged 18 months in American oak casks and then spends a further 12 months in bottle before release. Dark ruby red in colour with amber glints the nose is very pronounced showing seductive figs, apricots, nuts, savoury vanilla oak bouquet. Voluptuous, sweet middle palate with delicious, concentrated ripe berry, mature fruit broadening out. Wonderful length, make this a classy and complex wine. (12 x 75 cl)
