Description: This vintage is very much in the style of the very best Polish Hill Rieslings, with a vibrant zesty lime and mineral character, tight, steely structure, impeccable balance, layer after layer of intense flavour, and a refreshing, lingering bone-dry finish. Fruit for the Polish Hill Riesling is sourced from a single vineyard, planted at 460 metres above sea level on sandy loam over shallow clay, with underlying gravel, shale and slate. Like the Grosset Watervale Riesling, it has been made each year since 1981.
