Description:
Proud of their heritage of viticulture and wine making dating from 1953, the Aresti family present the first of their Family Collection range. The distinctive packaging incorporates the painting of the 'Vendima en la Hacienda Bellavista by the Chilean painter Alberto Valenzuela Lanos which depicts the harvest in the Curico Valley and hangs in the family hacienda. This distinctive wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon,Carmenere and Merlot grapes from the Penaflor estate. The wine spends 12 months in new oak barrels and has intense ruby colours, rich cassis and mint on the nose, exceptional structure on the palate with complex fruit flavours, spices and mature tannins. La Spinetta LIDIA Chardonnay Piemonte DOC
Description: The Rivettifamily story begins in the 1890s, when Giovanni Rivetti, grandfather of the three Rivetti brothers, Carlo, Bruno and Giorgio, left Piedmont for Argentina. Like many Italians of that time, he dreamed of returning rich and a powerful man, perhaps even one day able to make a great wine in his homeland. He never did, though his son, Giuseppe did. Pin married Lidia, bought vineyards and began to make wine. In 1977 the family took up residence at La Spinetta in Castagnole Lanze and still run the estate today. Named in honor of Lidia Rivetti, mother of the three Rivetti brothers this is 100% Chardonnay from a 2 hectare vineyard. After spending 12 months in new French oak this has produced a yellow straw coloured wine with slightly green reflections. Elegant, yet complex with scents reminding one of vegetables and vanilla; once on the palate there is a ripe entry, then distinctly firm edged, with a dry, nutty edge and sound acidity.
