Santadi stands out as one of the best examples of co-operative winemaking in Sardinia. Founded in 1960, it currently has 250 members cultivating 400 hectares of vineyards in the Sulcis area, on the south-western side of the island. A deep red colour, with a rich smoky nose of damson, spice and French oak on the nose. A full flavoured wine, quite soft with a meaty earthy richness. The Palate is showing chocolate and damson as well as a hint of oak. A big powerful wine showing richness and flavour with a long finish. (6 x 75 cl)
