This co-operative was founded in 1958 and today covers over 800 hectares of vineyards owned by hundreds of farmers in the Terras do Sado region. Here the vineyard growers benefit from excellent climatic conditions and a terroir known as Plicenico de Pegoes, a mainly sandy soil based region that produces grapes with distinctive character. This wine is a blend of Fernao Pires , Bual de Alicante , Moscatel and Tamarez . A lovely golden coloured wine with plenty of fruit it is fresh in the mouth with an enjoyable finish.
