Description:
Francois Mikulski has 8 hectares of vineyards in Pommard and Meursault, with new cellars directly behind the great Comte Lafon. These cellars are impressive and inside there are some 300 barrels, mostly new. While his wine style holds back on the use of new oak only using small proportions in the village and 1er Cru wines the result is a restrained wine with steely concentration and elegance. A rich, full complex Chardonnay showing the terrior to its fullest. The aromas of ripe fruits and good acid balance complement a long, fine finish. (6 x 75 cl)
