Description:
In 1995, Santiago Gracia Ysiegas continued the family tradition and founded the winery Bodegas Solar de Urbezo. His aim was to use grapes from the vineyards of the Gracia-Campillo family to deliver quality wines that reflected the region. The winery is located in Carinena, a region of Aragon, 45 km from Zaragoza in Spain. This wine is a young red with three months of ageing in barrels from a plot in the vineyard called 'La Pallaresa' and is made entirely from Garnacha 59 year old vines. The result of this is an intense red coloured wine with purple highlights. Intense fruity aromas of strawberry and red, mature fruit blended with light vanilla, balsamic notes and toasted tones. Full bodied and tasty in the mouth, the round, full flavours have great structure and vivacity. Well balanced, with good acidity and quality tannins that remain in the mouth. (12 x 75 cl)

La Cave De Morgex et DeLa Salle CHAUDE LUNE VIN DE GLACE Vallee D'Aosta
Description: The region of Valle d'Aosta has an ancient history of winemaking, even though the steep mountain slopes and harsh, cold climate might suggest otherwise. Historically however, wine production from the region was confined to individual 'backyard vineyards' of usually no more than 2,500 square meters. In 1983, thanks in part to the efforts of the region's local government, these efforts were officially acknowledged and the Cooperative estate, Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex et deLa Salle, was born. This cooperative took control of its newly built winery, well-equipped with all the technology needed to produce high-quality fine wines and began producing the region's traditional wine varieties. The local growers of the co-op are for the most part retired persons who tend their vines as they would a garden, following specific guidelines set up by the cooperative itself. Today the Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex et deLa Salle produces over 140,000 bottles annually of 5 different traditional Valle D'Aosta wines. This unfailing commitment to the Valle D'Aosta wine-making has literally saved the region's history and culture from extinction, making these beautiful wines, and a part of Valle D'Aosta's culture. Available in 50 cl bottles. (12 x 50 cl) Price: £228.72

Brac dela Perriere Chateau DeLa Pilonniere Brouilly
Description: Vintners and wine makers since 1574, the Brac dela Perriere family owns some of the most picturesque properties in Burgundy, Beaujolais-Maconnais, and Cotes du Rhone regions. In 1784, when Jacques Joseph Brac dela Perrière moved to Château dela Pilonniere, located on the slopes of the Brouilly hill, he did not think that he would be guillotined 15 years later. His sons, grandsons and descendants have maintained and developped the 9 hectare estate, always keeping the family tradition of vinifying in the original vat-room. A typical Brouilly wine, it is elegant with a deep red colour and red fruit aromas. A great Gamnay, this wine is showing blackcurrant flavours that combine with a silky texture and ripe tannins on the finish. (12 x 75 cl) Price: £139.67
