Description:
An aromatic wine that offers herbaceous characters alongside gooseberry, lychee and lemon aromas. The palate is dry, medium bodied and clean as a whistle. All the refreshing and lively flavours you would expect from a Sauvignon Blanc. Soleus is a fully certified organic wine from Chile, it is produced by MontGras, who are very conscious of the sustainability and bio-diversity of all their vineyards. The hand selected grapes come from the Aurora Estate in Teno which is part of the Central Valley. Watered with pure Andean snow melt water, the vineyards benefit from the reliable Chilean sunshine and cool Pacific breezes. Winemaker Santiago Margozzini is in charge of selecting the fruit and crafting the Soleus range of wines, which are barrel aged, complex and unfortunately produced in limited quantities. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: Deep ruby red in colour with a youthful bright rim. The nose is aromatic and fruit driven, displaying ripe plum and red-berry fruit with an undertone of forest floor. The palate is medium bodied, finely structured and fruit driven, with blackberry and morello cherry flavours, wood spice and a hint of vanilla on the complex, lengthy finish. Description: The region of Valle d'Aosta has an ancient history of winemaking, even though the steep mountain slopes and harsh, cold climate might suggest otherwise. Historically however, wine production from the region was confined to individual 'backyard vineyards' of usually no more than 2,500 square meters. In 1983, thanks in part to the efforts of the region's local government, these efforts were officially acknowledged and the Cooperative estate, Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle, was born. This cooperative took control of its newly built winery, well-equipped with all the technology needed to produce high-quality fine wines and began producing the region's traditional wine varieties. The local growers of the co-op are for the most part retired persons who tend their vines as they would a garden, following specific guidelines set up by the cooperative itself. Today the Cave du Vin Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle produces over 140,000 bottles annually of 5 different traditional Valle D'Aosta wines. This unfailing commitment to the Valle D'Aosta wine-making has literally saved the region's history and culture from extinction, making these beautiful wines, and a part of Valle D'Aosta's culture. Description: This Sauvignon Blanc, Vin de Pays du Val de Loire is made solely from Sauvignon Blanc. It is dry, yet aromatic, and has depth on the mid palate which makes it highly quaffable. Fermented solely in stainless steel, the wine has a fragrant, nettley character and crisp acidity on the finish. This Vin de Pays comes from the co-operative of Valencay and the winemaker is Sebastian Vaillant. The expression Vin de Pays du Val de Loire was created by a decree on 10th May 2007 and replaces the former name “Vin de Pays du Jardin de la France” for describing the local wines produced in the Loire Valley.
