TaittingerPRELUDE Grands Crus Non Vintage Champagne Description: This new wine from Taittinger is the culmination of Claude Taittinger's desire to produce a Grand Cru blend on a par with the Vintage Champagne. The wine is a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay from the Cotes des Blanc and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims area . Made to the elegant house style, it is a brilliant pale yellow with silvery highlights. Fine bubbles from a lasting, delicate creamy mousse whilst subtle, fresh floral aromas of elderberry with slightly spicy overtones through to an initial fresh, citrussy palate, finishing long and rich with hints of peach. Taittinger NOCTURNE Sec Non Vintage Champagne Description: Taittinger Nocturne is a pale yellow colour with shimmering highlights. The bubbles form a delicate necklace of fine mousse. Its nose is subtle and fresh, suggestive of the delightful aromas of white blossom and ripe fruit, with overtones of yellow peaches and dried apricots. The first impression on the palate is soft and mellow and remains very fresh. It is dominated by flavours reminiscent of raisins and fruit in syrup. The aftertaste is long and soft with an enjoyable and full of flavour sweetness. All in all, a mature, rounded, rich, mellow wine of intense smoothness, tenderness and passion. Taittinger Nocturne is an exceptional Sec champagne made from 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The finished blend includes over 35 crus from several different harvests, perfectly matured. The wine is ageing on yeast for at least 4 years before being disgorged. A dosage of 20 g of cane sugar per litre is then added. This dosage, combined with the rounded quality and maturity of this wine, gives it a highly distinctive body and smoothness, making it the perfect champagne to be enjoyed late in the evening. Taittinger COLLECTION Vintage Champagne Description: After Victor Vasarely, Arman, Andre Masson, Vieira da Silva, Roy Lichtenstein, Hans Hartung, Toshimitsu Imai, Corneille et Matta, Zao Wou-Ki has agreed to create a new work of art for the Taittinger Collection Range. This champagne is composed of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir.
