Golfer Nick Faldo was personally involved in the creation of this exclusive range of wines, produced in collaboration with internationally renowned winemaker Wayne Stebhens. On 8th November Antony Rose wrote in the Independent: 'Faldo is not just a pretty label. These are generously fruity, well made wines from the respected Katnook Estate in Coonawarra' Serious wines, no gimmick. Colour: Deep plum red with purple hues. Nose: Aromas of ripe plum and regional dusty mulberry and mint. Palate: Typical Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon fruit characters of ripe berries and dusty mulberry combine with light cedar oak and hints of mocha. The palate has excellent depth and balance of fruit and oak with a soft, slightly firm tannin finish. (6 x 75 cl)
