Description: This non-vintage, bottle fermented wine is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. It has been aged on yeast lees for three years, which has helped the wine develop a compex nutty and biscuity nose. Grove Mill Riesling Marlborough NZ
Description: The grapes for this wine were harvested on 4/4/98 and 22/4/98 with an average of 24.0 brix and an acid level of 9.0g/l. Fermentation over 45 days at a cool 12 degrees retained maximum natural fruit flavours. The resulting wine has 13% alcohol, 17.4 grams per litre residual sugar and 8.7 grams per litre titratable acidity. Grove Mill wines are made to be the best they can be. Deliberate fruit orientation with full-bodied richness and concentration to the point of balance defines the style. Determining vineyards, selecting their fruit at harvest and keeping only wines with the best structure, flavour and fragrances ensures the Grove Mill philosophy is exercised. Almost iridescent lime green in colour. Hints of citrus with a touch of spiciness. A powerful and appealing bouquet, dynamic and rich palate. The fruit intensity is balanced with a long crisp finish.
