Stella Bella Wines SUCKFIZZLE Cabernet Sauvignon Margaret River Western Australia
Description: Suckfizzle is a small vineyard located at the south-westerly extreme of the Margaret River grape growing region and since the first release in 1997 the Suckfizzle wines have developed a cult following. Here the converging power of the Southern and Indian oceans, provide a cool maritime climate characterised by drenching winter rains and long dry summers cooled by omnipresent sea breezes. In the north-east facing shelter of the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge and the Blackwood River, nature provided a unique viticultural mesoclimate for the Suckfizzle wines. Only two wines are made in the small vineyard. The white is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, the percentages a reflection of seasonal fortune. In style, the wine takes its cue from the very great wines of the Bordeaux appellation Pessac Leognan but showcases the inimitable Augusta style. The red is pure Cabernet Sauvignon (12 x 75 cl)

Stella Bella Wines STELLA BELLA Cabernet Merlot Margaret River Western Australia
Description: Since the first release in 1997 the Suckfizzle wines have developed a cult following. The Stella Bella wines are the creation of fruit selected from vineyard sites and blends of sub-regions within Margaret River. Echoing the great Bordeaux blends, this wine offers a little more generosity of style than one might find in its French counterparts! Well structured but with soft, smoky, brambly fruit backed up by tobaccoey, vanilla laced oak ageing.
