Description: A bright straw yellow Verdicchio with greenish reflections when young it will develop towards a golden colour with age. Showing a bouquet of intense fruit it has scents of yellow apple, pineapple, yellow plum and almond, while elegant floral notes of acacia and broom are also evident. A well structured wine that is balanced and fresh gives way to final notes of pleasantly bitter sapidity. This is the story of a heart-felt passion for vine cultivation. This is the result of the constant daily effort and dedication of people who have firmly believed in their work for over 40 years. Thanks to the initiative of 19 farmers, Colonnara was founded in Cupramontana in 1959. The ideal microclimate of the sweet hills of the Marches region lead to the cultivation of Verdicchio, which has become the pride of this territory over the centuries. This company has grown over time. Today it has over 190 associates and thanks to the use of innovative technology and the practice of environmentally friendly farming, it has managed to develop a production range that may be singled out among high quality wines.
