Description:
The wines of the Cornet & Cie range express the mineral elegance of the schist terroir and reflect the commitment to quality that is the foundation of the Cave de l'Abbe Rous Winery. The vineyard grapes are perched on terraces overlooking the Mediterranean where they are meticulously cared for during the 300 days of sunshine this region of France receives. Only then are the best grapes harvested by hand for this wine. This wine is a blend of Grenache Gris , White Grenache , Vermentino as well as a little Roussanne and Marsanne. A pale yellow colour with green tinges, it is aromatically complex showing notes of spice with a mineral head that is a great reflection of the Schist Terroir. Ample attack with a lot of fatness this is a structured and well balanced wine while the finish is spicy and fresh with smoky and mineral notes . (6 x 75 cl)

Chateau De Jau Grand Roussillon Vin Doux Naturel
Description: A small pretty Mediterranean seaside village just north of the Franco-Spanish border, Collioure is considered to have some of the finest wines in the south of France, an unsurprising fact when you realise that its yields are some of the lowest in France. The Grand Roussillon is an exotic orange coloured, tangerine marmalade-flavoured wine made from late-harvested Grenache Blanc and fermented in open-topped containers. (6 x 75 cl) Price: £72.92
