Located in the Aube area of the Champagne region, Devaux has stayed true to its roots with the blends having a heavy leaning towards the softer Pinot Noir grape. This is reflected in the composition of the Champagne blend, made from 2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay while it exclusively uses only the first pressing of the grapes. This stylish cuvée is then aged for a minimum of 3 years in the cellars before release. This is a well-structured Champagne that has a pale yellow, almost clear colour with fine beade and a classical pinot noir aroma showing notes of flowers. The well balanced palate is both long and lingering, while the finish is elegant and harmonious. (6 x 75 cl)
