It has good depth of colour and an intense, cherry and strawberry nose, with a touch of cassis from the Cabernet Sauvignon which tempers the characteristic acidity of the Sangiovese and softens the structure. Vigna del Sorbo has ripe tannins and intense, sweet but savoury fruit which lasts through the long, elegant finish.
