Description: Full garnet red, warm round bouquet with flavours of ripe plum and spices. Firm palate with a good balance of tannins on the finish. The extensive Vistarenni estate lies between Radda and Gaiole in Chianti, 580 metres. above sea level, and is dominated by its splendid 16th century villa. Once the property of the Strozzi and Sonnino families, the name itself is thought to be of Etruscan origin and is first documented as a settlement in 1049. The property comprises 35 hectares. of vineyards as well as olive groves and woodland, a magnificent cellar, entirely dug out of the rock and roofed over with brick vaulting, and a small farm shop (24 x 37.5 cl)
