Chateau Gres Saint Paul GRANGE PHILIPPE Sauvignon Vin de Pays d'Oc
Description: During the Middle Ages a small church was erected along the antique Domitian Way between Nimes and Montpellier in the heart of Languedoc Roussillon and named Saint-Paul de Cabrieres. Out of respect to this bygone monument the domain that was built on its ruins bears its name today: Chateau Gres-Saint Paul. Property of the Serviere family since 1830, the 26 ha of vineyards are situated in the commune of Lunel bordering the Mediterranean Sea and overlooking the Camargue and Etang de L'Or. The annual rainfall ranges betwween 600 and 700 mm with uneven distribution where there are 50 to 70 rainless days in summer. During the scorching summer heat the terroir benefits from the evening cool breezes off the nearby Mediterranean Sea, while this cool microclimate at an altitude of almost 50 meters allows the wine to obtain extremely fine aromas. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc has plenty of fruit dominating both the aromas and the palate with good balancing acidity it has an impressive finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Jacques Veritier Vin de Table Blanc
Description: The wines for the Jacques Veritier range are sourced from a number of co-operatives in south and south west France. The wines are made using the very latest winemaking techniques to produce modern, forward fruity wines, designed for immediate drinking. The date of harvesting is crucial and will affect the balance of the wine. The harvest is picked by hand and carried with the greatest delicacy and speed to the cellar. The grapes must arrive at the cellar whole, and in the shortest possible time if oxidation is to be avoided. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to retains aromas and freshness. The wine then sees no oak ageing and is bottled for early consumption. This wine is a blend of 34% Sauvignon Blanc, 33% Ugni Blanc and 33% Colombard with an aromatic nose showing hints of green apples and Sauvignon Blanc characteristics. On the palate it has good weight of fruit and beautifully balanced acidity that gives the wine a long, fresh, crisp finish. (12 x 75 cl)
