Description: What makes De Venoge's non-vintage champagne so special is the meticulous care with which it is made. It is a judicious blend of the three champagne grape varieties: 45% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Meunier. The wines in the blend are made solely from the first pressing which yields the best quality juice. Its bouquet displays scents of flowers, slowly evolving towards more buttery, buiscuity aromas. This is a well-balanced wine that is best drunk as an aperitif or with uncomplicated first courses. Cordon Bleu Brut can be drunk straight after purchase when it will be light and well-balanced, fresh and lively without any excessive acidity. Some champagne lovers prefer to cellar it for up to 18 months when it will reveal different aromas. The range of flavours will increase. (12 x 37.5 cl)

Devaux D de DEVAUX La Cuvee Brut Non Vintage Champagne
Description: Founded in 1846 by the brothers Jules and Auguste Devaux, the Champagne House of Devaux was taken over by Madame Augusta Devaux, one of Champagne's great characters who ran the company with much energy and skill. The positive impact that she made on the company lead it to be renamed Maison Veuve Devaux when she died. Today the House of Veuve A. Devaux is located in the magnificent setting of Domaine de Villeneuve and is part of co-operative that has some 800 growers contributing to the blends, making it the largest Champagne house in the region. Located in the Aube area of the Champagne region, Devaux has stayed true to its roots with the blends having a heavy leaning towards the softer Pinot Noir grape. This is reflected in the composition of the Champagne blend, made from 2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay while it exclusively uses only the first pressing of the grapes. This stylish cuvÉe is then aged for a minimum of 3 years in the cellars before release. A classic Piont Noir nose showing white flowers is followed by citrus fruits flavours on the palate. These provide balance and complexity to this elegant Champagne with an enjoyable finish. Available in Magnum bottles. (3 x 1.5 Litres)

De Venoge LOUIS XV Grand Cru Vintage Champagne
Description: The brand name was registered in 1864. Typically, Grand Vin des Princes is a very special blend of Blanc de Blancs from grands crus on the Côte des Blancs. This cuvée was created for the Princes of Orange but was made available to the general public in 1858, the idea being to win clients from amongst the great families of Europe. Since 1961 it has been housed in a special bottle shaped like a decanter, as a reminder of the way it used to be served in the 19th century. Grand Vin des Princes is still served at royal banquets at the court of Emperor Akihito of Japan for example. Its marvellous structure and concentrated aromas make it a superb match for lobster, monkfish or even caviar. For the record, in 1895 De Venoge registered the brands "Cuvée des Princes", "Cuvée Princière", "Champagne des Princes", "Réserve des Princes" and also "Champagne Rouge des Princes" and "Tisane des Princes", a very sweet champagne. De Venoge BRUT ROSE Non Vintage Champagne
Description: This cuvée was created in 1864 as a light rosé with an unusually fine froth. It was christened "Crémant rosé", another innovation in Champagne thanks to Joseph de Venoge. Produced after the classic Champagne fashion with a blend of Pinot Noir red wine and white wines made from the three grape varieties, it is perfect served as an aperitif on a sunny day or poured over red berry fruits or with something more adventurous such as stewed lobster in truffled seafood cream. De Venoge rosé comes in a clear glass bottle so as to reveal its beautiful colour. The label shows Yvonne de Venoge, Marquess de Mun, at table with her husband and evokes her appreciation of this particular champagne. De Venoge rosé should be drunk young. Contrary to most of our other cuvées we do not recommend that it should be cellared over a long period. (6 x 75 cl)

Forget Brimont BRUT ROSE Non Vintage Champagne
Description: Today Michel Forget is the sixth generation to continue the wine-making tradition of the Forget family. Louis Forget created his vineyard at the beginning of the XIX century. Then Eugène established the family label in 1920, with a production of just a hundred bottles. Today the 10 hectares Estate of Forget-Brimont is mainly located in the terroirs of Montagne de Reims, Mailly Champagne and Verzenay 'grands crus noirs' as well as Ludes and Rilly 'premier crus' at the heart of the pinot noir kingdom. When and as necessary, Michel Forget buys grand cru chardonnay for his blending, while 120 000 bottles leave the Forget cellars each year. Michel Forget blends his champagnes himself from three consecutive years, in order to ensure regularity and maintain the House style which is so appreciated by customers. The wine is stored in the Forget cellars 18 meters below ground level. The cellars excavated in chalk offer excellent conditions for the wine. The champagnes are aged there a minimum of two years. The vintage champagnes are aged between three and ten years. This enables the wines to reach full maturity, and they can be served as soon as they leave our cellars. This Rose Champagne is a blend of 60 % Pinot Noir 20 %, Pinot Meunier and 20 % Chardonnay. The Rose colour comes from adding red Champagne wine to the reserve cuvee and through the delicate blending an intense and fruity bouquet is evident with ample mouth feel and great finish.
