Quinta do Covela SELECCIONADA Tinto Colheita Vinho Regional Minho Portugal
Description: Ruby colour, with ripe red fruits, flowers, spices and vanilla. Good structure, soft tannins, with a long, elegant finish. Touriga Nacional, Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in French Allier and Vosges barriques for 1 year. Quinta do Covela has been in existence since the 16th Century. The schistous slopes of the Port area give way to the granite soils of the Entre-Douro e Minho. These poor soils, excellent exposure, special microclimate and mix of grapes varieties all mean that Quinta do Covela has its own very specific terroir. This, plus its status as producer and bottler means that the wines are unique among the appellation Vinho Regional Minho. Entre Douro e Minho (6 x 75 cl)
