The bouquet is showing attractive varietal fruit aromas of spice, mint, plum and cassis along with those reminiscent of rich fruitcake intertwine and are balanced by cedar, cigar box and vanilla oak nuances. On the palate this wine offers rich fruit cake flavours with sweet plum and cassis characters dominating. Description: A rich violet colour with a lovely purple hue. Red berry fruit characters abound with spice, mint, blackcurrants and plum. Faint cedar and cigar box elements are evident from the barrel maturation. A wine of mouth filling generosity which is powerful yet soft and welcoming. Lifted berry fruit characters from the Merlot are complimented with a minty note from the Cabernet. The palate is long, round and rich yet quite approachable with enough long fine tannins to provide a classy finish. A truly great value and imminently drinkable wine. (6 x 75 cl)
