Description: Crown Estates were previously know at Tokaji Kereskedohas and are now the only important Tokaji producer still in Hungarian hands. Much of the rest of the industry was sold elsewhere in the rush to privatise in the late 1980's, but Crown Estates managed to hold on to some serious vineyard holdings within the region together with the Szarvas vineyard (12 x 50 cl)

Amber green colour with some old oak on the nose while over concentrated apricot fruit leavened with cinnamon and nutmeg are evident. Very intense and ripe palate with tight acidity and remarkable length with an almost overpowering breadth on the palate. Extremely fine. (12 x 50 cl)

Huge and concentrated scalded demerara sugar nose with tight marmalade character. Very ripe and intense. Fine and sweet palate with impressive concentration and complexity.
