Description: The Second wine of Chateau La Croix De Grezard, Chateau Champ de Grenetis produced from ten acre vineyard on a plateau with a good exposition, while the soil is sandy-clay soil with a lot gravel. The Merlot grape variety amounts to 75% of the vines, the remaining 25% being made up of Cabernet Franc with some Cabernet Sauvignon and this has produced a well rounded wine with an abundance of fruit so typical of the St Emilion region. Situated in the heart of Lalande de Pomerol, on deep gravely top soil with iron pan in the subsoil has produced wines of great character. The wine is a blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc and is aged on average 14 months in oak casks. This is a dark ruby, velvety coloured wine with Nervy, but complex bouquet, a long lived flavour and a subtle amount of tannin. Available in Magnum Bottles. (6 x 1.5 Litres)
