Chateau La Lagune 3eme Cru Classe Ludon Haut Medoc
Description: This estate was classified in 1855 but despite this there were difficult times in the first half of the 20th century. It was rescued by Georges Brunet in 1954 when he bought the neglected property and built it up again. Since this time the wine has proved to be totally reliable, being substantial without being overwhelming. The components of earthy, spicy tones and the candied plum and berry fruit are beautifully balanced. 80% new oak barrels. (12 x 75 cl)
Price: £500.45
