He succeeded his father in 1982 with an estate of just half a hectare and today has 8 hectares spread through the Condrieu and St Joseph appellations. Recognised as one of the top producers in the area, AndrePerret's wines have that bit of extra concentration. He also somehow manages to combine this concentration with a great deal of finesse as befits a man whose unassuming personality consistently earns the respect of his peers. This St Joseph has spent 12 months in the barrel to produce a deep garnet red coloured wine with ruby glints.
