AgustinosAGUSTINOS Pinot Noir Reserve Bio Bio Chile
Description: Agustinos is the name of a rural section of the Aconcagua Valley, the original home of the Ibanez family, which christened their first vineyard with the same name. The grapes come from a selected vineyard and hand-picked at the optimum of their maturity, early in the morning. At the winery the grapes were selected in a sorting table, destemmed and move by gravity to open tanks to do the fermentation working with gentle punch down in the burgundian way. After the alcoholic fermentation was finished the wine was racked to barrels where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and the wine was then aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Ruby red coloured wine the fine and elegant aromas of red fruits including strawberries and cherries are evident while it is also showing hints of mineral notes. In the mouth it is well structured, the fruity tones support this wine and at the end some minerality characteristic of Biobio Valley can be identified. This Pinot Noir has a tasty and persistant end. (6 x 75 cl) Price: £42.42

Clean and brilliant yellow Chardonnay with golden reflects. The aroma has a good intensity of fruits like quince, pear and some vanilla notes, while in the mouth it's smooth, with a firm acidity that gives it freshness and length.
